A display of distinctive, colourful work by artist John Nolan will be showing at the Jones Gallery Dungarvan, 24th of February - 18th March. John, who has been winning awards for his work since the age of seven, is influenced by the work of Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, Albert Irvin and Howard Hodgkins, to name but a few. But his biggest inspiration was his father, a painter himself, who encouraged the young John.

Website: www.nolanart.comFor one week only - John Nolan has been invited for a return exhibition in the Jones Gallery, Davitts Quay, Dungarvan, as part of their Midsummer Festival on the Quay. The show will open on Saturday, 18th of June, 7.30pm - 9.30pm and close on Friday the 25th of June - one week only. John will exhibit a mixture of his colourful modern figurative and abstract work. The gallery will remain open until 10.00pm on the 21st of June, Midsummer's night, as part of the festival programme.
